Tattoo 2 days before christening?

Scheduled to get a tattoo starring just below my bra strap. I'm being impatient as the next appointments aren't for a while but they have a cancellation soon. But its 2 days before I'm godmother at a christening.

Are smartish clothes just going to be unbearably painful?

Wouldn’t cross my mind in the slightest. It’s not painful after it’s done.

Nah, it’ll be fine. Crack on!

As per pp, wouldn't even blink at the idea. You'll be wearing clothes whatever the event I'd imagine, the christening will make no difference.

It isn't painful anyway, more itchy than anything.

The dress I was going to wear is ruched and gathered right where the tattoo would be, so it just felt like a stupid idea and waiting was obvious but now you've all thrown me!

If they put a saniderm covering on then that can stay on until after the christening.

I’d go for it! Ask if they have Second Skin (a breathable dressing) and you could wear the itchiest material in the world with no bother 😁
