Placement of writing?

Having a tattoo done soon using handwriting from a deceased relative. I'm unsure of placement though, the writing is quite blocky and I was going to have it under watch strap but now not sure if elsewhere would be better?

Depends a little on the handwriting. How many letters/words is it?

If it's too small it will look a bit crappy over time as the lines blur out a little. And the inner wrist is quite a small area so if it's more than one word, I would choose somewhere bigger.

Other common places for a text tattoo include near the collarbone, on the rib cage to the side of your chest, the forearm.

I'm sorted, using a symbol to represent the person instead which I am much happier with. Thanks for the replies
