It's new tattoo day, yay

I'm excited. I love new tattoo day, need to go shopping for chuppa chups to get me through.

Is it weird I actually find getting tattoos totally relaxing, maybe it's the only time I don't have to think about anyone else. Does everyone else get that?
New stick of elbow grease lined up for later. Not sure what to wear as it's on my thigh but it's freezing.

Eh - naw. I hate getting tattooed. I mean, obviously I sit still and I don't complain, but inside I'm complaining. It's a constant exercise in mind over matter for me - lots of breathing exercises and going to my happy place. But I have had some long sittings, I guess. Shorter ones are not so bad.

Defiantly wasn't the relaxing afternoon I'd planned, I have no idea why but that was absolute agony, I'm coming down with a cold and on my period so I don't know if that's why. Anyway it was worth it.

I think both your cold and your period would have definitely affected you. I try to plan tattoos around my menstrual cycle if at all possible (though didn't manage it last time). Sorry it was a sore one but very pretty result!
