I have become a member of this forum some time ago. And I just wanted to share some news with you all
We have met our surrogate mother for the first time on Monday. We have received a confirmation that she for matched a week or so ago. And rushed to book the tickets and everything.
We are so happy. She is going to start stimulation soon. As well as the donor. Oh my god. We are almost there. Wish us luck!
It was so nerve-racking though. I cannot even describe it. The flight itself took a very long time. But we'll get used to it with time. But when we came to the clinic and were finally introduced to each other, it was such a beautiful moment. It took us a minute to get used to the thought that this is the woman that will be carrying a baby for us. And we started crying. Both of us. My husband is not that emotional in your day to day life. But he could not hold it, too. My baby! We are going to be parents. I really hope so, though. it has been too much, years and years of desperation to finally get here and be happy just by the thought of meeting the surrogate mother. This is insane in the best way possible. Now, we are back home already. Will be waiting for the further updates.
