SURROGACY ROUTES?

AdoptionDaddy · 22/05/2014 18:52

My husband and I are are a gay couple looking very seriously into surrogacy - I've approached the standard routes (e.g. Surrogacy UK) and was just wondering how people find surrogates otherwise - considering it's illegal to advertise publicly to be one or to ask for one.

Is there a way anyone can think of that I could at least chat to people considering such a life choice? Feel free to privately message me regarding this.

We live in West Sussex and looking to start a family in the near future!

Kind Regards & Best Wishes

Mr C&C Ward.

There is a free surrogacy seminar in London on 29th September 2018 organised by CSP, the longest established surrogacy agency in the world. You can meet with experts in the field as well as medical and legal professionals: bit.ly/2N4XtWE

Hi I'm new to all this, just curious to know as much info as possible about independent surrogacy in the uk? Also how and where to find potential surrogates to chat to and get to know. Have been married 7 years and no children due to having a full hysterectomy 2 years ago. Can someone please help and guide me the right way! Thankyou in advance Flowers

@Shamo Facebook is a good place. There are a few groups on there I think x

Hello,

We are seeking the surrogacy route and interested in meeting surrogates independently. Many participants have expressed social media as a source, please could someone message me the page groups or suggest the names of public groups to join to gain an invite?

Thanks in advance!

KittyB52 · 15/10/2018 07:15

The most well known groups on Facebook are Surrogacy UK, COTS and The Foyer. Surrogacy UK has a chat group with a good mix of people who can help you with any questions you might have.
I think the Foyer is good if you know you want an independent journey straight off.

There’s also Brilliant Beginnings and Hope Surrogacy but i think they only have Facebook pages, not groups.

My husband and I have been married for a year now and as a gay couple we are looking very seriously into surrogacy to start our family - We have researched the standard routes (e.g. Surrogacy UK) and we were wondering how people find surrogates or at least have an open (ish) discussion. Are there any Facebook groups or chats that we could access or any other routes that don't involve agencies in the first instance?

Feel free to privately message me.

Regards.

I have a beautiful surrogate daughter who is 7. Looking for other surrogate children for her to maybe make friends with so she doesn’t feel like she’s the only one, which I think sometimes she does.
Thank you.
