My male rabbit who is 9 this year but still very active, gets to be a bit of a pain with females in the spring, chasing and humping them occasionally but they still cuddle and groom and there is no biting. I have noticed a lot of stamping at night though and when I was up at 4.30 this morning I noticed he was out in the run and is also out quite late at night after they have been put away. If I open the hutch (it’s 7ft), the female is stood at the top of the tunnel. I think she is blocking him coming in and I’m worried about it. We have a big shed that I am trying to persuade my husband to let me use for them instead. Does anyone else have experience of this with females?
