My child has been staying at his nanas for a week since it’s half term. He’s came home and has worms. Little white ones. I got a call from his nana saying rbe rabbit has worms around the fluff on her anus. She sent me a photo of the worms they look the exact same to what my son has. Is this coincidence? Or is it linked? Could my child have caught them from school and passed them only the rabbit? The rabbit is a house rabbit it’s not in a cage it just runs freely and it house trained, the rabbit is 8 and has never had any issues at all says the nana.

No. Your child has worms. Your rabbit has flystrike and needs urgent veterinary treatment

Definitely sounds like fly strike in the rabbit which is absolutely horrific and needs urgent vet treatment

your son likely has threadworms
