Luxury guinea pig accommodation

We are contemplating adopting(?) a couple of guinea pigs.
We have a spare bedroom which could be partially given over to them , maybe also a separate outside run when the weather is suitable.
I'd want them to have space and a nice life. They could easily have 6ft x 3ft space, probably a bit more if needed.

What accommodation / inside run would you recommend for

  • suitability for GPs
  • easy cleaning
  • easy access for cuddles

Thank you, I've been going round in circles. When you know nothing it is hard ton know where to start.
Thanks to that link, DD and I now have a plan that could work.

It looks like a good website so hopefully useful all round.

This is another useful website:

And yes please do adopt. You'll get lots of advice and support from a rescue 😊

My piggies don't like the outside run, they're too accustomed to indoors, so dont assume they'll go outdoors for exercise and enrichment. They had a 6ft x 3ft hutch in an outhouse, but they fought, so we had to split it in two. We've extended their space now with Kavee cage panels. If you're keeping them inside I'd go for a Kavee cage from the start, the one on a stand, and go as big as you possibly can.
