Both parents are mini lops but he's got very long fluffy hair! Feels like a different texture too, my two rabbits had a litter (was told both female) two of their babies have long hair like this and the other two have usual short hair

Looks like they would be classed as a "Cashmere Lop" - looks cute but not for beginners as that fur will be very prone to matts, knotting and make it even harder for the flatter faced lop to keep themselves clean and eat their cecals. There's a ton of daily grooming, butt checks and clipping in this bun's future :(

I was going to say long haired lop but cashmere lop sounds right

They are definitely not for the faint hearted. They would need grooming every day, and probably need bum checking twice a day in the summer to stop fly strike

@bunnygeek @Soubriquet thank you both! Yup already had this issue! This little one in particular has had daily bum checks due to poo getting stuck/finding hard to groom himself! I am not keeping the two longer haired buns, they are going to a close friend so I will make sure to pass this info on Smile
