Guinea pig bedding and when to change ?

I have 2 guinea pigs , kept in a good size outdoor hutch, has a cover and have been trying different options for bedding.

Does anyone have any recommendations for what to use , also do you use same for "bedroom" area to the rest of the hutch and how often do you clean it out?

We used auboise bedding, it’s actually a horse bedding made from hemp. Very absorbent and easy to clean. I used fresh hay daily in the bedroom and spot cleaned the poops and damp patches in the living area before a full clean weekly.
