Are dwarf hamsters less nocturnal than Syrian hamsters

I read this and wondered if its true. My Syrian hamster comes out in the day for a drink and for food/treats but most syrian hamsters seem to be very nocturnal. But I read that dwarf hamsters are more adaptable to the sleep schedules of humans and more active, so more likely to be out and about in the day.

What do the owners of dwarf hamsters think? Thanks.
