The second two came separately, the black one last winter and the Netherland Dwarf in the summer. I have just successfully bonded them which I'm very pleased about, just in time for winter.

I foster for the RSPCA and have adopted many more than have moved on Blush Blush they live in extra large two storey hutches with attached garden space which they have constant access to.

Oops missed the first line of my post. They are all rescues: the first two a pair of bonded brothers who came from a stray rabbit and the second two came from separate homes where the owners had to sadly give them up (both were clearly extremely well loved and cared for prior to this).

I have these two, they have half a shed with a hutch inside for warmth, which connects to a 8ftx8ft run with all tunnels/hides etc. They are the boss of me Blush

Ah they are gorgeous! I love the indecisive ears on the first one and the beautiful face markings on the second.

@crazycatgal

This is my boy that I have recently (unexpectedly) ended up with. Will be getting him neutered soon so that we can get him a friend.
Oh he is so sweet!

Reposting the image of my boy. I realised there were other photo previews at the bottom of the picture.

Awwwwwww, his little coy face! Strangely our one decided to be a full on lop bunny for 2 days in mid-sept 21 and mid-sept 22. She looked SO strange, but I think we can tell the start of autumn with that look! Grin

I love his markings, do you know what breed he is?

That's really funny! Our guy occasionally sticks both ears up and I don't recognise him Grin

It's funny how the all have different personalities. The white bunny is the only rabbit I've ever known who can growl. The dog is a bit over friendly with the bunnies, tries to lick them like they're puppies.

Except she doesn't mess with Olaf because he goes into attack mode whenever he comes near, haha.

Found it! It’s like when I go to the hairdresser and I come out looking not quite “me”…

We lost our conti earlier this year. Giants are the only rabbits id want to keep again, theyre so dog like. Both were beautiful with children, our Bob more so, such a patient boy with the kids and very much in love with one of our cats.

@rabbitrabbitrabbitrabbit No, I don't unfortunately! He is beautiful though.

I have these two, my second pair of rescue rabbits. The first pair I got 10 years ago and lost them when they were 12 & 13 years. These two, Ted (white) and Ava (lop) are about 3-4 years old now. From the same rescue.

Ted (Ted Theodore Logan) arrived as a baby with his dad and sisters, and spent a year at the rescue because of his red eyes, is the most soft and gentle of boys but hates humans touching him. He was terribly mishandled before went into rescue, being picked up by his ears :(

Ava arrived in rescue as a stray, and terrifically aggressive before she was spayed. She's now just extremely outgoing, we call her our ADHD bunny because she's always up to something and always underfoot. Unlike Ted, she loves being touched (not picked up though) and her favourite thing is ear and cheek scritches

Oh my days, rabbits 🥰

I have two! And they're amazing. Unfortunately Banana our little lionhead has had her dental issues come back only 2 months after her last surgery, so we are managing her with pain relief for now, but it will be goodbye forever soon. And my heart hurts so much.

Vet said to get another rabbit before then, to give the remaining rabbit a chance of survival.

They have full free run of the garden and come sit at the door when they want to come in. They're awesome.

Can I join???
This is my mini rex buck. He is called Smokey. He's very tame and nosy and friendly. I've had him since he was a kit bought as a companion for my older bunny who I had pts in lovkdodn last year. Smokey is booked in to be neutered in November so we can consider a doe around Xmas or a bit after. I really want an ex breeding doe or a rescue etc but it has to be a mini rex I love them so much. The dds want to choose a rescue locally but well I feed and pick up the poo so it's my choice!!

I should add my boy has a giant set up dp build him with an annex he sleeps in and a double layer run with a mezzanine dig box he was so impressed with that!

Burnerphone21 · 14/10/2021 18:50

Only issue I have with my boy is the rex have paper thin skin and he insists on going outside getting wet feet constantly and gets sore hocks. The vet was laughing this week because every time she said 'have you tried?' I was replying 'yes that too and that and that' he's a bugger. He's on a 2 week stint of isaderm twice a day so he's hiding from me a lot 😂

Love our rabbits. They are more intelligent than they are given credit for. Never had such nosey and inquisitive animals. They are like a happy married couple...lol.
