I'd suspect poisoning of some description, too much of a coincidence for animals to drop down dead simultaneously.

Thats what I said too much of a coincidence. Kids are heartbroken.

Very sad :( I would be asking the vets to do some tests to find out the cause of death.

If it had just been the rabbits I would have suspected VHD if they weren't vaccinated. This isn't an issue for dogs or cats though.

All indoors? Does she have a carbon monoxide alarm? If not would be worth getting, as could be serious for humans too. Otherwise a new cleaning product or air freshener?

I don't think it would be carbon monoxide, as it is lighter than air and so accumulates higher up whereas cats and dogs tend to spend most time at ground level.

(Good idea to have a carbon monoxide alarm anyway)

I would suspect being poisoned - unfortunately.
