Best hutch to get?

We have 2 young Guinea pigs. About 5 months old. They have lived inside all the time so far- being babies and it being winter.

But now with the better weather we would like them to go outside to eat grass and enjoy themselves during the day.

We would still bring them in at night due to foxes etc. It would need to be a secure hutch as there is a risk of hawks, buzzards etc.

Which hutch would you all recommend please?

The biggest you could possibly afford is all I can say.

Honestly the bigger the better

I've got this one www.petsathome.com/shop/en/pets/pets-at-home-foxglove-hutch-natural for two guinea pigs who are out all year round. They have free run of the garden when it is sunny, and a big run attached as well. Size wise it seems fine...quality is rubbish though, it has lasted about 2 years and is falling apart so we need a new and better one.

Sorry can't do links on my phone!

Is there a guinea pig housing fb group? There’s a rabbit one that’s helpful.

Moonflower Have you looked at Chartwell Hutches? A relative has a 6foot one for their rabbit and it’s very sturdy and well made. Sorry I can’t post the link.

I'm not generally a fan of shop bought hutches. We got ours specifically made by a joiner. It's extremely sturdy and wouldn't blow over in the wind (very heavy to move though)
