Guinea Pigs Cuddling

I have two male guinea pig brothers who are coming up to four years old. They have always tolerated each other but never really been the best of friends.

For the past 1-2 weeks they've been cuddling each other and liking each other's company more.

Is it normal for their behaviour to change like this?

Aw lovely boars but be prepared , they might go through a bit of Spring Fever when the sap rises !

Though I did read that "elderly" boars were a delight that you could basically pair up with anything (I'm not sure how true that is ) .
When we married our last two pigs ( they were nearly 5) we crossed our fingers that he would behave ........... and he did .
He had lived beside our sows since his wives died and she had only lived with her female cagemate . If he tried anything she'd have flattened him !

Are they cold at all ?
And changes in the house that they might be worried about ?
And check for grooming , if maybe one has an injury and the other one is grooming to heal it ( guinea-pig spit has Magial Powers I tell ya )
