One guinea pig bitten other one's ear

I'm hoping someone can help as I know guinea pigs are very popular on MN.

I've got 2 young female pigs, they just got very silly and a row broke out. One has obviously bitten the other's ear. It's not terrible but there's a thin red line along it and a bit of fresh blood.

What would you do? Do you think I ought to take her to a vet, or at what point should I consider doing that?

I'm really disappointed in the pig that bit, as she had been so placid and gentle so far and I'm worried about the pig who got bitten, she's a shy pig who was just starting to come out of her shell and really relax with people.

They are probably just sorting out who is the boss.

I would clean it with cooled boiled water.

We used to boil up water and add a dash of salt then let it cool.
Used for eyes mainly ( hay poke injuries and getting bits of hay in eyes is common with piggies )

And the other pig will probably groom the wounded one , the probiotic quality of guinea-pig spit is without equal. (Probiotic from pooh eating sounds minging but it works for them !)
Our last girl had to go to the vet with an eye injury which I'm sure got worse because she didn't have a cagemate to wash her eye .
