Fleece instead of woodchippings

Hi all! Just wondering if anyone has made fleece tunnels, beds or cage liners for their small pets? If so what did you use or where did you start?? I'm happy to buy (and will be doing) but thought it might be a nice project!

I'm making the change from woodchippings to fleece throughout!

Any help or recommendations welcome Smile x

I used Ikea fleece - they were about £2, no blanket stitching round the edge (which I'd have had to trim off )
It wicked well.
Plush fleecey ones don't wick,, the pee sits there .

You need a PetBag to wash them (saves your washing machine ) a rubber brush is great to get the excess hay/pooh off .

Non scented detergent , no conditioner .

I had a HippyChick water proof mat left over from my DC that I sewed between 2 fleece to make a nice thick waterproof fleece .
Or used puppy pads underneath (my pigs didn't chew them)

Fleece was nice in the inddor cages floor ....but really they liked a nice big box of hay Grin
