GP indoor cage recommendation

We have 2 boats who get on well. They have a lovely big cage outside but we ended up bringing it in for the winter. Loads of mess and it took up a lot of space. Would love to get them an indoor cage for the colder months and we are thinking of trying fleece bedding. Can anyone recommend a cage? Can’t do c&c as we have cats.

I did a C&C lid when my DBro cat came to visit . I had to overlap the grids, use a load of cable ties and make sure there was a box in the cage to balance it on.. The lid was slight;y bigger than the cage so it didn't fall in.
Couple of cable ties or those carabina locks ( re-useable so better ) to secure it

I had a look in Jolleys a while back, they had rabbit cages that were huge , good depth and a plastic base / bars on top.

I got my indoor cage from The Range years ago, it was ok for our sows or a boar with sows (4x2) but only for sleeping inside in winter (ours went out to their heated shed in the daytime). That was the biggest they did .

C&C is great because you can adapt it , but the guinea-pig mess travels Grin. I put cardboard layers on the base to protect their paws and up the side to try and contain it .

There was one on face book ot Gumtree that was on a flat base with wheels , clear perspex sides with airholes along the sides and a solid lid ....so you could use the guinea-pig cage as a coffee table !
At least the little monsters would be useful as well as decorative Grin

You can make a lid for a c&c - and you can make it so that all or only part opens.

zooplus do a 160cm cage suitable for 2 boars

Or two midwest cages (with lids) linked together would work.
