Wonder if anyone can help me out. I'm confused about which bedding to use for gerbils and also whether they need hay. The recycled paper I'm using now I've read can get trapped in their claws. I put in a sand bath but wasn't sure if that should be a permanent fixture? I also saw somewhere that they enjoy hay?
Any advice would be good, thank you!
