As we're expecting a hot one this week thought this May be helpful to share ideas:

Wrap a cool block/ pad in a tea towel and put in / on top of hidey houses

Spray the grass with water to keep
It cool before putting pets in if it's already hot so the grass they are munching is cool and wet.

Obviously ensure plenty of shade

I’ve been wondering about this - you reckon it’ll be better for them to be in the run on the grass (with a shaded cover over half of it), or kept in the hutch which is also in the shade? I’m worried they’ll be too exposed if in the run? I’m debating bringing them inside, I have a pair of guinea pigs and a pair of rabbits though so I’m not sure where I’ll fit them indoors!

I think grass and run is cooler than the hutch. I used to put mine out and cover the run with towels to provide shade. You can also wet the towels with water and lay them out. It seemed to work!
