Would you be able to tell if they had them? There's been an instance where I feel I've been bitten after holding one of them but can't see anything? Should I treat them anyway?

Bumping this Op - I’ve just posted something similar. Myself and my child have had itchy spots recently and I don’t know whether it’s from the Guinea pigs or my neighbour’s cats? Their child is good friends with mine and they’re in and out of their homes all day. I’ve spotted a tiny black flea twice - are they cats or GP? Did you get any sense?

Well ours went to a breeder who does boarding for the hols and she gave them a thorough check through before taking them. She was happy to have them so evidently there wasn't anything there.
