Basil and Sybil.
Basil and Manuel.

Oh my goodness!! The yellow looks exactly like my precious boy, Bobby.

I got him from a lovely old lady who was sadly going into a home a decade ago. He's still going strong at age 13 and a half! He has a wife, a white budgoe called Blanche.

Call one Budgie and the other Smuggler.

Whereismumhiding2 · 12/09/2017 21:04

Bogart and Hepburn

monkeyfacegrace · 12/09/2017 21:06

My blue one was Jack and my green/yellow one was Laurence.

Bloody awful things they were. Used to perch on the mirrors and shit behind them all day every day, and squawk all through the TV every night Grin

They always used to put themselves to bed though. They were always back in their cage by dusk which was quite cute.

NoncommittalToSparkleMotion · 12/09/2017 21:09

Sunny and Blue(bell if female)

KeiraTwiceKnightley · 12/09/2017 21:14

Mate of mine had a budgie called Paul Young when we were kids.

Allyg1185 · 12/09/2017 21:24

We have a male and female budgie. The blue and white is male and hes called Whitey and the yellow one is female and shes called Rosie. My 6 year old named them Grin

Didactylos · 12/09/2017 21:36

Cyan (for the blue and white) & Magenta (for the yellow one)
Just to be awkward

Aph413 · 12/09/2017 21:38

I used to be very imaginative with bird names. My canary was called Boy Grin. Really enjoying all the suggestions, in certain lights the blue and white one seems to have a blue cere and in others brown

Cheryl and Liam

Avocadostone · 12/09/2017 22:06

NapQueen · 12/09/2017 22:17

Oh totally Grin

CycleHire · 12/09/2017 22:20

'Is it me? Or do they look like Phil Scofield and Holly Williby.'

Oh they do! They do!

soupforbrains · 12/09/2017 22:22

strange I came on here just to say Budgie and Smuggler but you beat me to it Grin

StrangeAndUnusual · 13/09/2017 15:18

Soup - great minds ...

Youcanttaketheskyfromme · 13/09/2017 15:21

You have two males by the way Smile

I like bubble and squeak.

Are you going to let them fly round eventually ?

Youcanttaketheskyfromme · 13/09/2017 15:22

Wait I've just seen your blue and white one has a cere that looks brown in some lights...I may need to be corrected then because I would have sworn it was pink in that photo ! You may have a boy and a girl after all.

Aph413 · 13/09/2017 16:54

@youcanttaketheskyfromme eventually they'll be allowed out on a daily basis, for now it's hand training and hopefully getting them to recognise their names.
The blue and white one remain steadfastly undecided with its blueish/brown cere.
Still completely undecided with names so far think I'm avoiding paired names because it always makes me sad if I ever end up with just one of the pair

They are delightful little cuties - I hope the taming goes well Smile

Aph413 · 13/09/2017 16:58

They're both very happy to clamber all over my arm when I put my hand in their cage so it's promising Smile
