Bearing in mind Millie's advanced years I do hope I've not put the mockers on her.

Millie loves her run with attached summer house but it has broken and not worth repairing again. The bottom of the summer house rotted and fell out, a cross brace fell off and the lid is broken too.

So I've made an investment in a new run with summer house but this new one is small at 4 ft x 3 ft but seeing as she doesn't move much these days I think it will be alright Grin

Lucky Millie hope she enjoys her present. Of course she won't show her thanks or enjoyment in case you get ideas above your station as slave. She will show the appropriate level of grumpiness and judginess as befits a pig grudgingly accepting a gift.

Bet she sits in a corner with her back to you 😂😂😂

Got to wait 10 days from date of ordering for despatch. Meanwhile I dare not move the run as it may fall apart.

As Mollie is 6 and showing her age I followed your lead and bought her a present (she's looked a bit ropey this week, but is eating, pooing, weeing and shouting so not a lot amiss).
She seems to feeling the cold more, and gets chilled if outside too long ...so gave bought her a fleece pocket thingy to sit in.
It came yesterday, its now got white hair all over it, she's christened it with a wee and a poo and is as snug as a bug in a rug 😂😂
Now Sadie wants one Hmm have explained it is for venerable old ladies, but still she keeps showing Moll to get in with her !
They are both currently inside sitting on and eating a seed tray of grass each whilst watching the cricket with DH

not spoilt much

Ahh ver' ver' spolied Grin

I bought little soft pet beds (raised sides) for GP1/GP2 years ago but yes after one day they;re peed, mashed with pooh Envy

Mmmmmm a memory foam bathmat, now there's a thought.

Mollie seems ok if getting ancient, but I just gave a feeling, you know, that she's going into decline.
I heard DH giving her a pep talk today along the lines of 105 days to Christmas Mollie, so 101 to the shortest day, and then we'll be heading to spring ... you need to keep warm and keep eating
Hmm

I'm already planning the indoor accomodation for this winter , I have the Hated Indoor Cage (its actually quite nice , its 4'x2' with a plastic base + bars on the upper - they just get very judgey in it) and C&C grids.

I'm wondering about an upper/lower level as I have a 2+1 this winter , but if Bert isn't eye level to the girls he'll miss chatting to them.

The hogs are refusing to accept its Autumn , they say there's still plenty of grazing days till at least Halllowe'en . Though they like a cardboard box or similar to sit in with just their faces exposed to swoop across the grass )

Millie's present has still not arrived. Ebay seller. I think the runs are made to order and did say in the listing expect 10 day wait. Just checked my a/c, despatch is now estimated as between 25th - 27th September Shock

I've sent a hurry up message.

After messaging seller new run arrived Wednesday. DH put it together yesterday. Today was Millie's first try out. She investigated the summer house then saw I'd put her wooden hides in the run. She made her happy noise and did a quick waddle into her familiar hidey and stayed there all afternoon. She has eaten a 'L' shaped match of grass to match the floor area of the hidey.

I'd call that a success. Grin
