Next door have a couple of ferrets. I was in the kitchen making a brew and my dd comes in and says mum there's a rat outside 😂. (We have patio doors into the back garden) I asked where and she said right outside the door. I was a bit hmm a rat?! So came into the lounge and it's next doors ferret. I've been next door nobodies in. My dh knows the guy so ive text him and asked him to text the guy. The road outside our house is quite busy so I wouldn't want it to get ran over or anything like that. It looks only young. I thought I might go out and try catch it take it next door and out it back in it's hutch (hutch is outside) but everytime I go out it runs and hides behind my shed! I thought I could put some cat food down to see if it might eat it but it won't. Dh said guy next door said to leave it it would find its own way back 🤔. I know nothing about ferrets what so ever. I just don't want it hurting itself getting ran over etc. Not to mention that even though I've told my dd coubtless times it's not a rat she still seems to think it is and screams everytime I open the door. Any advice would be appreciated
