If you have an outdoor hutch on legs which has sliding trays, please make sure the trays have bolts to prevent foxes gaining access. Sadly, my niece had a hutch which did not have bolts to secure the trays and on Saturday night a fox got underneath and pushed the sliding tray out from behind and got inside...

Aww Sad Auntie that is tragic, poor pigs and a horrible shock for your neice.

Foxes (our local ones) are a force to be reckoned with.
We had our GP2 dug up twice by foxes (thankfully he was buried in a zip up plastic toilettries bag) but he was under soil, a stone and a shrub in the border Shock
I have no doubt at the lengths they will go to in the quest for a meal.
And this time of year they're out late in the lighter evenings.

Watch out for the sneaky blighters when the pigs are out grazing too.
