Mrs Pig finally hops over rainbow bridge

In very sad news from the purple household, Mrs Pig has finally died. Considering she was diagnosed with chronic kidney failure back in November, nearly broke her leg and had a mini stroke in December and most recently developed bone deposition in her eyes it's amazing she hung around for so long. Considering she had so little going for her, she was an fantastic little lady who was full of bounce and interested in everything.

Her fat sisters and Mr Pig will miss her and I'm really sad. I know she had a really happy life right up until the end but this is the rotten part of having such lovely pets.

So sorry to hear this Purple - Mrs Pig had definitely had more than her fair share of ailments and bravely pootled on through them all living a happy piggie life. I'm sure she'll be missed by Mr Pig and the rest of the herd. Hope you're all doing okayFlowers

Thanks both. I can't stop crying but I know it's for the best. In the end it was really quick-one minute she was butting her sisters out of the food dish and the next she had gone. Bless her, she really was lovely.

It is the saddest part of loving piggies but it's nice to think you've done your best for them and now they're at peace.
Mrs Pig threw everything right back at'cha bless her .

Somehow it seems fitting that a piggie 'goes' hustling at the food bowl. It's their natural place to be.

Shamrock to Mr Pig and his Laydeez

And I guarentee it'll take you a few days till you get used to doing food for 3 rather than food for 4. Sad
