How are the littlies coping with the veg crisis?

Went to the Co yesterday to do the weekly shop to discover no:
lettuce,
cucumber,
normal peppers,
tomatoes,
spinach,
broccoli,
cauliflower.

Apparently this shortage could last a few months! My wee ones are not going to be pleased. I fear the rabbits are going to get bored of cabbagem and the guineas are going to be squeaking their disgust at the change in diet. I think I'd better get some vit C tablets to up their intake.

Haven't noticed any shortages here (just north of Dundee). New bunnies have been tucking into kale, carrots and Spring Greens which are possibly grown locally. Not for the buns but courgette was peely wally looking in Sainsbury the other day.

Tescos had reduced romaine today (54p)
Two heads of romaine came to the 70 house, piggies were mollified.

My buns would be most put out not to be included here! And to be fair I was getting as worried about them getting bored of cabbage as the guineas not getting a wide-enough range of stuff.

Was down south (Glasgow) for the weekend. The shops there seemed to be reasonably well packed but Morrisons in Fort William was definitely sparse. No idea how the local Co-Op is doing just now. Will find out at the weekend.

The shortage had passed us by. Plenty of everything including the stuff they won't eat!
