They do them for Guinea pigs @ say they can be kept outside even over the winter, any thoughts?

They are really £££ even second hand they're £200+

I haven't seen one IRL, but from the photos and dimensions, they're really small.
Guineas won't use the attatched run in bad weather (rabbits will) so they'd be stuck in a small, plastic pretty boring 'box'

I like the idea in Summer, they're fox safe and insulated to be cool.

Even in winter , mine need the room to roam otherwise their muscles seize up , and they bicker Hmm

I have an eglu for chickens and it is amazing, however I think the ones for small pets are just the same and were designed to be perfect for chickens and just adapted so not perfect for guineapigs but I might be wrong.

Yeah I did think where do they run about in the winter? But how does it work if you keep Guinea pigs in the house? Where do they live and how do they roam about?

Unfortunately, I don't think that the eglu is suitable for winter as it just isn't designed to keep the guinea pigs warm enough, unless you live in a really mild part of the country.
Try looking on this site for information about keeping them outdoors www.theguineapigforum.co.uk/forums/housing-and-enrichment.9/ loads of people on this forum do.
