Best way to rehome a baby piggy

So. After discovering baby Trevor was actually a baby Tina we had an unplanned pregnancy.

2 baby piggies were born. Baby Trevor has gone to my neighbour and will be made for life. Baby Rubble moved in with his dad yesterday. Big Rubble will be going for his nuts off as soon as the weather cools down a little and moving back in with Big Trevor.

Baby Rubble can't stay. If he was a girl piggy he could but a boy pig needs his own boyfriend to hang around with. My hutch isnt big enough for 3 realistically and I don't really have room for 2 hutches.

Have popped a little ad on my fb page and my local estate but have been very strict about what Baby Rubble will require.

I don't want to do the free ads route and want to try and find him the very best of homes. Any ideas of anywhere else I can find him someone?

Phone some Rescues and explain what has happened. You won't be the first that's had an unexpected Pig Litter.
He stands a good chance of being matched up with a lone boar (I got my GP3 from a Rescue to match up with my GP1 when we lost his brother)

How good a chance does he stand 70? I feel really responsible for him because he was my fault.

I also feel really bad that big rubble has to have the snip. In an ideal world I would get anot her double hutch and another sow and keep a girls hutch and a boys hutch.

You can't 100% be sure but there might be someone (like I was) looking for a particular piggie.

I needed a piglet boar
I needed two Take No Prisoners Females
I needed a neutered adult boar

ll of these I found in Rescue when I contacted and requested (had to wait a few days for them)

The most recent pigs were the ones I waited longest for.

In an ideal world, yes another hutch and keep him.

Personally I wouldn't put anything living on Free Ads,

I feel the same about free ads. It's fairly disgusting. I can't even read through it anymore.

My sister was going to have him if he was a she. She has a sow on her own and we thought she might like the company. But she is a house pig in a very busy house so she will be ok alone I think.

Then my ndn who has the other baby and a slightly older male wanted him but I thought 3 uncut boys might fight.

I will keep asking around family and friends and if nothing comes up will contact a rescue and see if they have anyone waiting. And if not dp will have a fit as I will buy another cage and a sow to keep Trevor company.

Just to let you know 70 I have solved my problem!

My mum is going to take mummy Trevor to live with her. She will be an indoor piggy and will be spoilt to death. I am keeping big rubble and baby Rubble. Which means big rubble doesn't have to lose his nuts. I really didn't mind paying for it but I was worried about his recovery especially when we are.mid summer and there are lots of flies.

This way I can still see Trevor and know she is fine and I don't need to rehome the baby one!
