And they are absolutely adorable.

It wasn't an intended breeding. We thought Trevor was a he. She was rescued by my little nephew from a livestock auction and then came to me as his mum doesn't like animals. We got Rubble from a local breeder as a friend for Trevor.

Anyhow Trevor got a fat belly and then yesterday I found these 2 little piggies hiding in the straw. If they are the same sex I already have a home for both. If different I have a home for the boy and will keep the girl.

Rubble is off to the vets next week for aN assessment to see if his testicles are descended enough to remove.

Fuss pot I am very much hoping not. I know they were very newborn as they were still wet. And Trevor was chasing him away. Both babies have lovely homes now so it's not the rehoming issue it will just be hard on Trevor.

But I suppose wild guinea pigs will mate immediately after so just got to cross fingers and hope for the best. And take extra care of her in the meantime.

70 we don't hAve a lawn. They get handpicked grass delivered every couple of days to make a change from carrots etc. They are getting very brave now and come out of the bedroom a lot more.
