What kind of hay do your bunnies enjoy?

Our bunny has just had his second dental in a year. He's not a massive fan of hay. We've tried lots. Any recommendations would be welcome.

although currently munching burgess as it was 2 for 7 pounds

I buy proper horse hay and they eat tons of the stuff!

My late bunny hated hay. I bought every conceivable kind - I even gathered hay up from the fields my uncle owns to give to her. My memory is hazy, but she developed a kind of growth in her jaw because she wouldn't eat hay, and I had to ask the vet to put her to sleep as she was in pain. She was unable to even eat.

I had a bun who's teeth have to be taken out as they had grown round in to the roof of his mouth :( tooth issues can be catastrophic to rabbits :(

I buy a different hay each time and have two on the go to keep it interesting. Freshen up the hay every day and make sure you're not giving too many pellets or easy to eat foods as your bun might get lazy and not want to eat the hay.

My two normally eat VitaVerde, currently the dandolion one, and I get it from VetUk website.

Mine likes the burgess excel. I tried her on some cheap meadow hay and it gave her hay fever!

Hi,have you tried feeding your bunny some dried forage? Burgess sell the dried herbs in bags or you can pick and dry your own. Rabbits go mad for it and you can mix it up in the hay. It also contains a decent amount of fibre so will help with the teeth as well.
