Guinea pig wedding

The long awaited day has come-Mr Pig has met his three lady pigs. They've been running around the bathroom for a hour and a half and apart from some very loud squeaking and a minor degree of grumpy nipping over a carrot it seems to have gone well. No teeth chattering or obviously aggressive behaviour. They are currently all asleep behind the bathroom door.

I have a silly question-how do I know if they have bonded? Do I just put them in the cage and keep a close eye on them? They don't seem to obviously dislike each other which is definitely good!

Congrats to Mr Pig on his nuptialsThanks. Won't be long before his three ladies have him trained to do their bidding and generally let them have first pick of any food. He'll love it.

Awww Congratulations to Mr Pig and MrsPig/MrsPig/MrsPig Grin

They willsort out their pecking order now, and you'll see who is Alpha Pig (unlikely to be Mr Pig BTW Grin )

Our GP6 used to coralle the ladies at food time and escort them to the plate to let them eat first (sweet)
The only snippy incidents we have in between the sows when they're in season (you can tell by their behaviour and ours have stinkier wee)

YY to photos , and a long happy life to the PurplePigs
