ferrets in South Wales

hello! I am considering setting up a small ferret rescue/boarding in South Wales, I used to have 3 of my own and have good general knowledge of the species.

has anyone else set up their own rescue and could give me any tips or advice?

I really want to do something good in my life and I feel that this could be really good for me. I have the space in my garden for approx 6 hutches and a play area.

I have looked into it a bit and I can't find many other ferret rescues in Wales, other than the RSPCA and a charity that rescues pretty much everything :)

is there anyone in Wales here who owns a ferret who would find a boarding facility useful?

thanks in advance! Grin

Well, I'm not in Wales or anywhere near, but if you were near me I would definitely find a ferret boarding facility useful.

We have two extremely cute ferrets and have had to rely on friends to look after them when we are away. It is not always easy to find people who like ferrets & aren't afraid of handling them Sad

Good luck with your new venture!
