Got new hammy Thursday
Have been talking to her threw the bars
yesterday evening we lifted the lid off and put cage on floor we spoke to her and held a icecream tub up which she went into then we stroked her lots
We stroked her again tonite and she sat on my lap
She was very fast tonite and wouldn't sit still
Me and dd age 9 are nervous about her biting our last hamster that we had 4 years ago bit a lot
What should we do next
Let her sniff our hands

Get in the bath!

Empty obviously Wink, safe place to do taming and you won't lose her! Plug in!!! . Sit down and let her run over you.
Put your hands out and let her sniff but don't hold or pick her up.

Use the tub to transfer her rather than picking up as I find they go into prey mode and usually get quite scared .
