Thread here about ending up with an adopted hamster from Pets at Home.

Anyway, playing with little Buttons this evening, letting her have a run around in the ball and a general scamper around.

I've noticed she's got a rather large lump on the outside of her skin (not inside iyswim) it looks like a skin tag a human would get, it's pink and bald, it's like an extra leg, goodness knows how I didn't notice before, it's right between her 2 front legs on her chest.

She's still as bright eyed as she was, friendly, no diorreah, eating, drinking, playing etc.

Obviously I will take her to the vet but is it likely she's got cancer? :(

From what you've said it sounds harmless. Rodents do get skin tags just like us humans.

Millie (guinea pig) has a big skin tag on her left ear and her 'Anne Bolynne ' toe its a skin growth on the pad of one of her front paws. It grows gets caked in poo drys up, drops off and repeat, the 'toe' that is, the poo has to be washed off by me
