Had it been ill or was it sudden. Pigs are very good at hiding illness and can go very quickly from seeming perfectly healthy to dead. It's a shock when it happens. Did your pig have a companion? If so, lots of cuddles will be required so that it doesn't feel too lonely.

Ohh , very Sad

Sometimes there is nothing visible and they do hide their illnesses well.Even going over everything, there is often nothing you can put your finger on.

We lost our boar in January, he was only 18 months old too, but he packed alot of living and loving into his short life.

Sad another piggie to The Bridge.
