I've just brought my newish bunny in for a quick wash as her feet were really muddy and she doesn't seem to be cleaning them, only to realise that they are really quite matted. I considered chopping the matts out with scissors but she wasn't really keen on me touching her feet and I was too scared she'd jump at the wrong moment and I'd do her an injury.
Has anyone had matted bunny feet before? What's the best thing for me to do for her?
She is about a year old, medium sized and white, hence why the mud shows up so much! I don't mind her looking grubby but I don't want her having sore feet
