Extreme rabbit moulting?

I recently acquired two adult house rabbits.
They stayed as house rabbits over the winter but the summer has been so lovely they went into a (very large) hutch in the spring and are out on the lawn most days for around 6 hours, which they clearly love.

They seem to be moulting a LOT. No bald patches. Eating well. Otherwise healthy and recently vet checked. But just handfuls (seemingly) coming out.

Is it the time of year?

My CurrentBun has just started his moult - he's looking a bit rough around the edges Confused and he's a house bun. It's the time of year. They may need more food as they can get very hungry when they moult. There's no filling my boy when he's moulting.
