GP with dog/cats

Hi. We are looking at GP as the latest addition to our family. Would love 2, living in garden with run and inside in winter.

We have two geriatric cats who are both hunters and a nutty dog who chases anything that moves.

Am I mad considering it?

In a word - erm yes.

2 hunter cats (so furries are fair game)
Nutty chasey dog.

Guineas are prey animals. OK, the Resident cat/dog might calm down, but the pigs would be in a constant state of alert . Sad
They don't do stress well.

Though there will be people who do keep cats/dogs/GPs together.
(My Dad knows someone who keeps Free Range Guineas. Their Border Collie (trained sheepdog) coralls them into the cage at night Grin
