What to use instead of wood litter help!

Cleaning out rabbit and realised we have no wood litter stuff letter for litter tray what can we use instead? Newspaper or will the rabbit be confused?

I always use newspaper for my guineas.
Have you got a shredder? Could you shred up a few sheets for rabbit to dig in?

Guineas are easily confused, they wouldn't mind what I used .

You can use towels and fleece (but they;re a pain to wash, need to get all the hay off or put it in a pillowcase)
