Rabbit castrated - how soon can I introduce to female rabbit

I had 2 sister, dwarf lop, lion lop crosses. Unfortunately one of them has died, leaving a very lonely rabbit.

I've acquired a male dwarf lop rescue rabbit, who was castrated last Wednesday. How soon can I introduce them to each other, and any tips for making this go smoothly?

Thanks Grin

Not yet! Male rabbits can remain fertile four weeks after castration!

Have a look at this link here:

www.rabbitwelfare.co.uk/resources/index.php?section=leaflets.html

Check out advice and information leaflets, particularly the one called 'bunny buddies' which sets out introduction method.

Good luck! You are doing the right thing - they are much happier living with company!
