Asparagus stalks

Can guinea pigs eat the woody end you cut off the asparagus? TIA

Yes they can, but I bought a mixed veg tray (Tesco when the veg was 4 for 3 ) there was baby corn, green beans and asparagus.
Little swine didn't like the asparagus. Grin

So give them a try as you've got it, they might love it .
