I've never kept hamsters but from your other link , as you've got 2 cats , it'll need to be 100% cat proof,
(I also remember helping my NDN catch one of her hamsters after it escaped behind the sofa. There are Houdinis Grin and I'm used to grabbing lardy arsed guinea-pigs)
