I have discovered Millie pig has an extra 'toe' on her right front paw Grin It doesn't have a bone and I don't think it has a nail. Its growing from the middle of her pad and curls round to the outer side.

I'd bet a pound to a penny, born with a mutant toe Millie was bred at P@H Wink

So how did I make this wondrous discovery? Well you may recall a few weeks ago I thought Millie had a wart on her foot that I had initially thought was poo Blush Back ground info brings us up to today.

Millie has a dirty bum. She can't stay away from dandelions. All the girls spent the day out in the run. For some reason none of them poo/pee on the grass, they all prefer to 'go' in their summerhouse Confused. So there is loads of huge poos that they all go walking through Angry. Meaning at coming in time all of them have shitty paws that need washing. Millie needed her bum washed as well so I knew she was the culprit. But her right front paw was the gift that just kept giving. The 'wart' turned out to be mutant toe caked in old crusty poo and as that chipped away Eureka!

All three girls are now in their clean hutch, hiding from me in their bedroom. They have been giving me judging looks from the doorway Grin

Mutant cavy feet can be in-breeding (though I think that's bits missing rather than bits extra)

GP2 had a little skin tag on one ear and a fatty eye

One of my previous piggies had a 'tail' (well, an extra bone at the end of her spine Grin )
It's these little things that make them unique and ensures they aren't made to be show guineas.

lol at Anne Boleyn Grin you should write these tails down fortified and 70 brilliant stories. One of our girls had two extra toes, but one on each back foot, which historical figure does that make her?.... (Godzilla or Richard 111rd?) x

Grin At the extras on the pigs. It's just more to love and why they need extra parsley! Smoothpig has some extra chins although I don't think he was born with those.

Aww extra toes like Hemmingway Cats (huuuugge paws) Grin
