That little shake before they eat!

Hi all

Thats what I miss!!! :)

Just been to see guinea nephews, all snuggled up during their nap times, all three in separate cages, snoozing away. Auntie Guineapiglet walks in with massive bag of dandelions and grass. There is a kind of delay whilst they are still 'roosting' - rustle of the grass bag, and there it is, that lovely little shake, which means 'Oooh, I am awake now.... give me some....yum yum yum, now go away.....>

70 this was inspired by your comment on another thread about your judgey guineas just about tolerating you as you delivered food. So very fickle!

Tardis - well it is Dr Who day!!

Aww, I just went out to the Pighouse with a plate of fresh scissor cut grass (sounds like an M&S ad).
Their Pighouse is lovely and snug- the floor is covered in soft barley straw, the haybox fresh filled this morning and their little heater on.
Both boys quite lively which is nice, getting some excercise.

Two little faces in the plate before it hit the floor then GP3 sits on the plate Hmm.

So we didn't have a shake, it was a leap from GP3 and a wheek from GP1.
I'm sure ,deep down they are very judgey, the grass is a bit meh at the moment, but they've witheld the hostilities in favour in eating,

Our grass at the mo is absolutely gorgeous. Our girls are loving it! :)

My boys do their little shake as well. They are enjoying having their run in the conservatory now which is their adored Current Bun's stomping ground. So they can watch him all day Grin - he lurves that Wink. He has been helping with Smoothpig's exercise requirements (due to his extreme portliness). Yesterday he went for a play in their run before they went in and he rearranged the big box and brown paper that was in there. Now the piggies have an obstacle course and have to leap a brown paper jump to do a circuit. Smooth loved it and did big leaps running round several times. Scruffy just bumbled straight through the jumps, got tangled and had to chew his way out Confused
