One of my boars has just died :-(

He was only 4. I still have his brother though. He's sat in a box in the kitchen munching on a carrot.

(It's been a very sad couple of weeks for guinea-pigs going To The Bridge)

I have 3 hutches with 2 boars in one, and (now) single boars in the other 2. Hopefully he will get on with the other single boar. The 2 singles are the most placid out of the bunch.

I still have one who's 5 1/2 though.

AAw, very sorry to hear your news, it is such a sad time for small furries at this time of year - hope you are OK and the remaining guineas decide it is better to be sociable than not - hope they all get on - try matching them very slowly, little bits of time, in a neutral hutch maybe to start with. There is no guarantee that they will get on, but fingers crossed that they do! :)

Well both single boars have now had a bath and are sat in a large box in the kitchen. They have had muesli, carrot, apple and cabbage and appear to be getting on fine (but they are the 2 most placid of the 4).
