I'm so excited!!! Got the beeeyooootiful C & C cage assembled on Wednesday, bits and pieces all set up in it yesterday and this morning went and brought two lovely guinea pigs home! Their names are Ramona and Beezus (dd and I may have been reading Ramona the Pest..)

So far they darted into the hidey tunnel and appear to have been taking it in turns to sleep whilst the other one keeps an eye on us pesky humans. Although Beezus is currently asleep and I get the impression Ramona is a bit bored with playing watchdog as she keeps poking her nose out.

Am so looking forward to this new adventure in family life!

Awww how exciting - how old are they are what colours/ haircuts do they have?

RamonatheMisunderstood · 13/10/2013 20:31

They are only babies, just a few weeks old. Ramona is white with a brown patch over her eye, and Beezus is black and white. We've never had guinea pigs before, I can't get over how cute they are!

So cute. Love the names! Won't be long before they're wheeking for treats every time you go past.

Pictures, you must go public and show us pictures. They sound very cute Smile

Yes, we do need pictures Grin

Just wait until you go to them in the morning and they rush to greet you squeaking 'good morning lovely human pets, it's fantastic to see you!' (Or it could be 'you're up at last - where's my parsley?) Wink

Aww good luck with the guineas.
Baby guinea fur smells gorgeous too Smile.
They take a while to settle and will be very skittery- but enjoy these pigletty times.
Our piglet is about 18 weeks now ( lose track of time ) and he's heavier and chunkier than his 3yo "StepDad",
