My hamster's balls are hanging out.

Is this normal? I've had lots of hamsters in the past and never seen this before. It was both of them and now it's just one. He's a Syrian hamster, if that helps. Just wondering whether I need to take him to the vet or not.

Also, they weren't hanging out yesterday and this is the first time I've had him out today.

Can be perfectly normal. More common when they are warmer

Syrian hamsters' testicles are enormous. Don't be alarmed! We have a Syrian called Alfred and his are so big he sits on them quite comfortably.

They were both hanging out at first but one went away back in, they're both comfortably where they should be now :) thanks though!

It's normal especially as they get old apparently. Bless.
