Our rabbit is suddenly drinking a LOT of water. I need to take him to the vet don't I? [busad] indeed!

Sorry to hear your rabbit isn't well [busad]. Yes excessive drinking does need checking out.

Let us know how you get on. Good luck.

Diabetes or cystitus springs to mind.

Either one will need a check up. You vet may well ask you to get a wee sample from the rabbit?
You could ask them what to collect it in, they might give you a sterile bottle or syringe to take a sample in with you.

Have only just managed to log on again! Thanks both. I'll try and make an appointment for tomorrow. Poor Buster...

Hope everything went okay at the vets. Excessive thirst always needs checking, although TBH as my rabbit rarely drinks anything I think I'd have to get him checked if he used his water bottle!
