Oh, poor you. Was she only 5 years old or did you get her when she is older? 5 is quite young for a rabbit lifespan. But at least her last moments were with you. Not a bad way to go.

babloogirl · 22/03/2012 18:52

When we got her She was only a few weeks old it had been a few days that she was off her dry food (but would still drink and have apples).

Dh has now come home and we buried her Sad

I have her cage I don't know what to do with, do you think some rescue centre could make use of it?

It might have been ovarian cancer - I think that's relatively common. At least she didn't seem to suffer much.

I don't know about the cage for a rescue centre. You could always freecycle it for some family who are getting a rabbit from the shelter.

Sorry to hear your news x

Aww poor bunny. :(

You could try a local rescue center. Some foster out rabbits and so always need hutches. They might be concerned about cross infection though, since you don't know why your girl died.

Was she spayed and vaccinated?

Aww poor you, we have only had our bunnies for a year and are quite attached to them. Sad

So sorry to hear about your bunny. I had this happen with a GP a long time ago and I still feel that she waited until I was with her because she loved me. She obviously knew how much you loved her xx
